R.L. McCowan, with a black and white lab for over 40 years, now opens the door to photographers and takes custom print orders for both silver and Carbro. Custom printing is very personal interpretation. Mac gives great attention to each customer’s needs. He has established a strong communication with photographers of all fields thus to obtain the same feeling in the print as the photographers first capture the image and know what they want to portray. All prints are archival processed on double weight fiber base paper. The quote includes hand print, dodge, crop and burn. Selenium toning is 25% extra. The basic cost is $0.35 per square inch for B/W and $1 per square inch for Carbro. Price is negotiable from the second print on. Negative size: 135, 2 1/4, 4 x 5. Print sizes are from Mac will e-mail the customer an 8 x 10 test print for approval. Delivery will be 15 to 30 days after. 50% down payment, balance upon delivery, customer handles the shipping.
